The United States Border Collie Handlers Association sheep dog trials are underway at the UC Hopland Research & Extension Center. Activity begins prior to daylight, with registration, orientation, 4-H food booth preparation, and distributing America's drug of choice (coffee).
Here you see three photos showing 1) Vassar Barn at dawn ... the hub of activity, 2) dog handlers and staff watching the first run of the day at pre-sunrise, and 3) the famous 4-H food booth. Again, this activity is free to public spectators who who are welcome between 8AM and 5PM on both today and tomorrow. Hope to see you here!
